Another extraordinary work by this Canadian stained glass artist. Each of the 55 pieces of glass is specifically chosen, cut and leaded to create another contemporary, yet timeless design. Central to this piece is the round bevelled "porthole" that is within the diamond bevel. Imagine the light coming through all of the bevelled glass, and each of the different coloured, textured glass into your space - outstanding!
Size: 16 1/2" x 10 1/2", ready to hang.
Available for pick up at Hamilton Farmers’ Market or DM for delivery options.
About Wayne Reardon
Cambridge, Ontario-based stained glass artist Wayne Reardon grew up in St. John’s, Newfoundland where he first developed his admiration of the historic stained glass windows in churches and homes.
In his early twenties, Wayne moved to Toronto. After admiring the artistry of the many stained glass windows in Old Toronto, he was inspired to study stained glass at a small shop in Cabbagetown. It is here that he began designing and creating his custom works.
Wayne stepped away from stained glass for a time to focus on raising a family and his career in accounting and horticulture. After moving to Galt, Ontario, he was inspired to reconnect with his art and has been creating high quality works from beveled, coloured and patterned glass ever since.
