Marbled Graphic - "Gingko" - from Cedar Lake (Robert Wu)
The magical Gingko tree is captured here with the ancient art of marbling, painting on the surface of water. Colours are first floated on to a gelatinous size. Combs and rakes are used to create designs by manipulating the colors. A sheet of paper is then laid onto the surface to transfer the pattern from water to paper! Thus, each work is unique. Enjoy this whimsical tree and see something new in its branches every time you look at it.
The 100% acid-free heavy off-white cotton paper measures 19" x 25" and is professionally framed with archival mat and solid wood frame. The yellow solid-wood frame with subtle natural wood line perfectly complements the art piece. This work is available at Cedar Lake Studios, 19 Ainslie St. N. Cambridge, ON, or contact Cedar Lake for shipping/delivery costs.
