Artisan: Colby Abel is an emerging, and already skilled woodworker based in St. George, ON. Colby's journey in woodworking started as a young boy, when he began cutting random pieces of wood while his family were building their house. Over the years, Colby worked alongside his Dad and Grandfather, and his skills grew. Eventually, this entreprenurial young man, who is just going into high school, decided to turn his passion into a business. His business is constantly evolving, and currently he is gathering the necessary tools to be able to mill his own wood from trees available.
In addition to his woodworking skills, Colby has enhanced other skill sets by supporting volunteer and charity projects.
Colby has developed a variety of products, putting his own mark on functional and beautiful pieces, including phone holders, bowls of all sizes up to 12 inches, cutting boards of varied sizes of Ontario hardwoods, salad tongs, small boxes, and other custom projects.
